The mainstream media has been downplaying the FISA abuse memo

The mainstream media has been downplaying the Nunes’ FISA abuse memo ever since we first heard about it. Now that that the document has been released they have been in overdrive trying to discredit and deemphasize the fact that the Department of Justice and the FBI used a fake dossier put together by Michael Steele, who is a bias hater of Trump and admitted to not wanting him in office.

The DOJ and FBI used circular reasoning to lend credibility to the dossier. What we now know is that the Carter Page FISA application cited a Yahoo News article extensively by Michael Isikoff, but he got is information from Steele, which came from the same dossier. So, they used the same dossier to prove that the dossier was credible. Any competent investigator would have looked for more proof than this unless you didn’t care and new it was fake, to begin with.

CNN stated that,

“The memo also confirms it was not the dossier that sparked the FBI's investigation into Trump and Russia -- but rather it was Papadopoulos, whose conversations with a professor connected to the Russian government promising dirt on Clinton were relayed to the FBI through the Australian government.”

This is not entirely true because in the memo its said that McCabe testified before the Committee in December 2017 that no spying would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele dossier information. This is what triggered the entire investigation because they have admitted that if the dossier was accurate, they believed that Russia would use it to blackmail President Trump and that is why he colluded with Russia. And that was the fake narrative that they ran with even though there is not a single shred of evidence to prove anything in the salacious document.

Then you have Rachel Maddow for MSNBC and Former FBI director James Comey saying “that’s it,” and trying to downplay what is going on. No, that is not it. Nunes said in an interview with Fox News that this is just “phase one,” they are going after the State Department in “phase two.” We are now getting closer and closer to Barack Obama, who many believe spearheaded this entire operation.
