As more Americans come to terms with the possibility that this pandemic may finally be coming to an end, as we begin to see the “light at the end of the tunnel” that the oldest President in American history keeps yammering about, a lot of stuff that has been lurking in the back of our minds for the last 15 months begins to tiptoe to the front. We all have nagging little questions like: How did all of this happen in the first place? Who is accountable? How much of the information we've been told about the origin and spread of COVID-19 is accurate, and who benefits from the fabrications? And eventually, all of those questions will lead to the same conclusion: the Chinese Communist Party.
For the last year, our moral, ethical, and intellectual superiors in the press have insisted that speculation that COVID-19 originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology is a lunatic conspiracy theory. But all of a sudden, they've reversed their positions, admitting that a lab leak is not only possible, but probable. (Of course, without ever admitting they were wrong for an entire year and without attempting to silence anyone who dared to speak out about a lab leak.) Their pride prevents them from admitting error. Honesty is asking too much of those who never cease to congratulate themselves on revealing the truth.) As legendary science fiction writer Philip K. Dick put it, "reality is that which persists even when one ceases to believe in it." And, despite the best efforts of a large number of people who want you to stop talking about it, the lab-leak theory is not going away.
We've been chastised for referring to it as "the Wuhan virus" or "the Chinese virus," as everyone on the news did in the early days of the pandemic, until they were told to stop.
And just today, John Cena apologized to China for daring to refer to Taiwan as an independent country. Numerous prominent Americans are making a concerted effort to avoid offending China by speaking the truth.
When did all of these men begin working for Xi Jinping?
Since quite some time ago, it appears. Washington Free Beacon's Chuck Ross reported, over the last six months, a Chinese Communist Party-controlled news agency has paid millions of dollars to American newspapers and magazines, despite the fact that US officials have raised concerns about Beijing's propaganda activities.
According to disclosures filed with the Justice Department, China Daily spent more than $1.6 million on advertising campaigns in Time magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the Financial Times, and Foreign Policy magazine. Beijing's news agency also paid another $1 million to American newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and Houston Chronicle, to print copies of its publications...
Numerous newspapers affiliated with China Daily are facing severe financial difficulties. Last year, the Los Angeles Times laid off employees as advertising revenue plummeted due to the coronavirus pandemic. For years, newspapers such as the Chicago Tribune and Boston Globe have been losing money.
Whether you believe the virus originated or was manipulated in a laboratory, or you believe that someone in a "wet market" accidentally ate a bad bowl of bat soup and that's why you couldn't hug Grandma for a year, there is no doubt that this pandemic began in Wuhan, China. And since that initial outbreak, everything the Chinese Communist Party has said and done has been dishonest.
This is not a racist statement, and you are not a conspiracy theorist for noticing. The only people who will tell you otherwise, Hollywood and the news media, are being paid by China. They are unconcerned about you and your family. They are only concerned with themselves. They are not acting in your best interests, and you are not obligated to listen to them.
